display at the upcoming Electronic House Expo, the K2 Limited Edition
has been recognized by the Consumer Electronic Association’s TechHome
Division as a top achievement in the ‘Best Media Server’
category.

Clara, 21 February 2006 – Niveus Media, Inc., manufacturer
of media entertainment devices for the high-end audio/video market,
has announced that the K2 Limited Edition has been named a 2006 Mark
of Excellence Award Finalist in the ‘Best Media Server’
category.
The ISF-certified
K2 Limited Edition is currently the only Windows XP Media Center Edition
system to incorporate studio grade audio, featuring 6-channel balanced
XLR and RCA output and a single pair of balanced XLR and RCA inputs
which enable a user to produce 24 bit 192khz DVD-AUDIO quality recordings
for archival & playback purposes.
In addition
to offering recording/mastering quality audio, the K2 offers the same
passive cooling technology found in all Niveus Media Centers, allowing
the system to run totally silent. Furthermore, the Niveus ConvergencePanel™,
the unit’s unique rear panel, enables the K2 to be easily integrated
with existing studio grade audio gear.
